GCEJN: Environmental theology in the Forest Church movement
Time:
12:15- 13:30
Description:
The Revd Cate Williams has kindly agreed to speak about Green Theology at our next meeting scheduled for Tuesday 26th September at lunchtime in Cheltenham. Cate has been researching environmental theology in the context of the Forest Church. Regulars may recall that a couple of years ago Cate and the Revd Dan Papworth gave an introductory talk about Forest Church and Nature Connection, which can be found here:

http://www.greengloucestershire.org.uk/past-meetings/2015/nature-connection-and-forest-church.php

The meeting will start at 12.15pm at St Philip and St James Church, Leckhampton , Cheltenham, GL50 2DL. Actually, our venue is the meeting room in Church House next to the parish church in Grafton Road. It can seat 40 people so why not invite a friend along?

Leckhampton is about a 10-minute walk from Cheltenham bus station and there’s a cycle route http://www.cyclecheltenham.org.uk/docs/cyclemap.pdf

There’s also on-site parking for several cars as well as street parking. Please don't get confused with a parish church of the same name but situated two miles away at Up Hatherley.

As usual the meeting will run from 12.15 to 1.30pm (latest). Please bring your own sandwiches and we’ll be able to use the kitchen for drinks. If you are intending to participate then please let me know although not essential.

best wishes
