Within the first two to four months of the bombings, the acute effects of the atomic bombings killed 90,000–146,000 people in Hiroshima and 39,000–80,000 in Nagasaki
Friday 31st August 2018 World record for tidal energy in August 2017 Scotland launched world’s biggest tidal energy turbine. This 550-tonne machine added to Scotland’s already huge tidal energy production. In August 2017, the tidal power station in the Pentland Firth generated 700 megawatt-hours of electricity, a world record amount for a single month.
