Christian Theology and the Green Party

Dr Jonathan Ingleby's wide-ranging and theologically grounded talk was well-received by about 20 people at the GCEJN meeting on Thursday, 26th February in Gloucester. The talk can be downloaded here. Jonathan's talk was followed by a lively and fascinating Q&A session.

Jonathan has lectured in Applied Theology at Redcliffe College since 1995. Previously, he worked in education for more than twenty years in India and has always been interested in anything to do with the Global South and social justice. He has published a number of books to do with Indian History, Globalisation and Postcolonialism. Recently he has become convinced that the issues surrounding the environment, particularly the need to promote Green economics, are vital to our future.
