Friday 6th July 2018 Camelford disaster anniversary
The Camelford water pollution incident involved the accidental contamination of the drinking water supply to the town of Camelford, Cornwall, on 6 July 1988. Twenty tonnes of aluminium sulphate was inadvertently added to the water supply, raising the concentration to 3,000 times the admissible level.
Tuesday 10th July 2018 The Seveso disaster anniversary
The Seveso disaster was an industrial accident that occurred around 12:37 pm on July 10, 1976, in a small chemical manufacturing plant approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Milan in the Lombardy region of Italy. It resulted in the highest known exposure to 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) in residential populations
